Concept
A robot “sees” a line as a pattern of 5 bits, not one bump switch.
A little theory
Weighted average of sensors estimates line position for PID steering. In the classroom, treat 5-Channel IR Line Sensor Array as a intermediate part using 5× digital / analog.
