Concept
A resistor with a sliding tap (wiper).
A little theory
Vout = Vcc × (fraction of rotation). ADC reads the wiper. In the classroom, treat 10 kΩ Rotary Potentiometer as a beginner part using Analog 3-pin. Typical India street price is about ₹8–₹25. Always verify voltage and pin labels on your exact module — silk screens vary across clones.
