Concept
A single-board Linux computer. Unlike Arduino, it runs a full OS (Raspberry Pi OS) so students use Python, browsers, and cameras natively.
A little theory
Broadcom BCM2712 quad Cortex-A76 class SoC with VideoCore VII. GPIO is 3.3 V only. PCIe FPC on Pi 5 enables HATs and NVMe adapters. Power demands are higher than Pi 4 — undersized chargers cause throttling and SD corruption. In the classroom, treat Raspberry Pi 5 (4 GB) as a intermediate part using GPIO, HDMI, USB3, CSI, I2C, SPI, UART. Typical India street price is about ₹5500–₹9000. Always verify voltage and pin labels on your exact module — silk screens vary across clones. How it works in a project
