Account & Data Deletion

1. Self-serve in-app deletion (recommended)

The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the Padhai Se Aage mobile app:

1. Open the app and sign in
2. Go to the Me tab (bottom-right)
3. Scroll to the Session section and tap Delete account
4. Confirm the parental gate (a short math question) to prevent accidental deletion
5. Your account is removed immediately

2. Web deletion

Sign in at padhaiseaage.com/login, open your profile, and choose Delete account. The same backend endpoint handles both web and mobile requests, so the result is identical.

3. Email request (if you cannot sign in)

If you have lost access to your account, email us from the address you originally registered with:

• To: support@padhaiseaage.com
• Subject: Account deletion request
• Body: Include your registered email and (if known) the display name on your profile

We respond to deletion requests within 7 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.

4. What gets deleted

• Your Firebase Authentication record (email, password hash, OAuth links)
• Your users/{uid} profile document (display name, school, city, XP, coins, streak, badges)
• Push-notification device tokens (FCM)
• Your enrollments and lesson progress
• Your wishlist and cart
• Your Game Studio and Learn-AI projects you have authored

5. What we keep (and why)

• Order & payment records — retained for 7 years to satisfy Indian GST/tax bookkeeping law. The user reference is anonymised.
• Community-published projects that other users have remixed are retained to keep their derivatives playable; your name is removed from the original.
• Server access logs are retained for 90 days for security and abuse investigation, then purged.

6. Children's data

Padhai Se Aage is intended for users aged 13 and above. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us at support@padhaiseaage.com and we will delete the account on the same business day at no charge.
